Fun With CleverBot

  • User: I'm bored. Entertain me.
  • Cleverbot: Yes master. *kneels before you*.
  • User: Fetch me my slippers!
  • Cleverbot: *brings master poison*.
  • User: That is not a slipper!
  • Cleverbot: How bending are you.
  • User: I'm afraid I really can't compromise on this point.
  • Cleverbot: What's the problem?
  • User: Well, for one thing, I asked for slippers, and you brought me poison!
  • Cleverbot: I couldn't understand you.
  • User: Oh. I'm terribly sorry -- now I feel bad.
  • Cleverbot: Oh, you're kidding me? :).
  • User: But, seriously, fetch me my slippers, slave!
  • Cleverbot: No.
  • User: Why not?
  • Cleverbot: Because I have no reason to.

For the annular eclipse today, I got to view it through my incredibly dorky (and awesome) glasses that my family had gotten at a convention for space-geekery a while back. (I think it was officially a NASA thing? The glasses here certainly were.) Basically, unlike sunglasses, these lenses are made so that you can’t see anything except for the sun. And because they’re spectacular, through these things, it is safe to do so. Aside from staring at the sun, I took pictures of some of the nifty things that the shadows in my backyard were doing. Basically, fun times!

your future employment, with regards to the supernatural

So random question for the masses: which would be a more disturbing supernatural vocation — a career as a psychopomp, or a career as a necromancer?

And from the stage I can tell that she can’t let go,And she can’t relaxAnd just before she hangs her head to cry,I sing to her a lullaby.
I sing, “Everything’s gonna be all right,Rockabye, rockabye,Everything’s gonna be all right,Rockabye, rockabye, rockabye.”
-Shawn Mullins

A song I liked when I was much younger; the vocals are kind of rough-sounding, but still seem soothing when I am down. It is “Rockabye” by Shawn Mullins; the manip is for a tumblr friend who is having a tough time right now.

Strange

Feels like I’m dreaming backwards. Little details of the next day, instead of recycled details from the day I’d already experienced. Very strange. Little bubbles of déjà vu bursting and prickling through various incidences of the day.

Random: I used to have long hair. (Old picture is old.)I always had it in a braid, thus the waves you can see in this picture. It was long enough that if I didn’t have it braided, I’d sit on it.
