I MADE MYSELF A PIRATE. And if you’re thinking, “Gosh, that parrot looks odd!”, don’t worry — it looks weird because it’s an enlarged parakeet. Pirates are cool, okay? Shut up. (The parakeet’s name is Darl, after a character in the Faulkner novel “As I Lay Dying”.)
