little ducks all in a row

The truth is out: one of the real reasons I don’t watch movies is because my attention span is rubbish. I started trying to watch mean girls, and one character, Damian (whose best friend described him as “almost too gay to function”) wanted to have hair the same colour as Kady, another character (also seen here, in the blurry foreground).

Naturally, this meant I had to pause, screencap, and give him a quick photoshop mockup of a potential hairstyle using her haircolour. 

I think his hair would look nice in her colour. Just saying.

It’s for Saucery. I probably did it wrong. I certainly did it sloppily/lazily. This picture probably says everything awful that needs to be said about my life choices.

(Oh well.)

I MADE MYSELF A PIRATE. And if you’re thinking, “Gosh, that parrot looks odd!”, don’t worry — it looks weird because it’s an enlarged parakeet.

Pirates are cool, okay? Shut up.

(The parakeet’s name is Darl, after a character in the Faulkner novel “As I Lay Dying”.)

Overfiltered type of accident (What happens when you drag a slider too far or set a layer to the wrong blending mode — I forget which, in this case. Possibly both?) from last fall. (to remind everyone that I am scary~)

Another photomanip. I didn’t do it today or anything, but I just realized I may as well post it, because anyone who stumbles across my tumblr already knows I’m weird and do things like this.

As an aside, someone asked what Lambert’s arm was doing, and it’s not supposed to be anything ~sketchy, just laying there. When I’m sharing sleeping space with someone I know well enough, my arm generally goes under them in the space between the hipbones and the bottom of their ribs, because that’s a place where arm and wrist bones aren’t knocking against the other person’s bones uncomfily, but instead buried under a more squishy area. tl;dr

Anyone actually following this blog may be getting sick of the combo-people-posts, for which I apologize. Here’s one that I actually made a while back, but don’t seem to have posted here — a combination of two people whose appearances get kind of mixed together in my head. Apparently I can’t tell one late-90s/turn-of-the-millennium  blonde media icon from another. Initials B.S. — Buffy Summers or Britney Spears. And the musical episode of BtVS didn’t help un-mix them in my head, either.
